Vistara · Co-branded
Vistara merged into Air India in late 2024 — Club Vistara points migrated to Flying Returns. Here's where co-branded cards stand.
Vistara as a standalone airline ceased operations in November 2024 after the Tata Sons consolidation with Air India. The Club Vistara loyalty program migrated to Air India Flying Returns — but the migration ratio meant most CV points were halved in value (1 CV point = 0.5 Flying Returns mile, approximately). Existing IDFC FIRST Vistara + Axis Vistara co-branded cards are still operational but pay Flying Returns miles instead of CV points; the card economics have shifted significantly. If you held one of these cards pre-merger, hold for milestone perks; if applying fresh, the Tata Neu Infinity HDFC is the more forward-looking Tata-ecosystem play. We track this aggressively — Flying Returns redemption charts changed twice in 2025.
Post-merger: Flying Returns miles instead of Club Vistara. Reduced economics vs pre-2024.
Air India Flying Returns miles (post-Nov 2024)
Pre-2024 CV-points-card content is misleading — economics changed materially. Flying Returns redemption chart is less favourable than CV was. Tata Neu Infinity is the better Tata-ecosystem card now.
